James Cochran is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of Heiberger Fire Department and serves as the assistant fire chief and treasurer. He is also the church treasurer for the Heiberger United Methodist Church. As a retired paramedic, he responds to medical needs of local neighbors and responds to burglar alarms at the Heiberger House. He recently responded to two car fires. He is always ready to help others.
