Promoting Digital Literacy Across Alabama

Many Alabama public libraries are actively involved in promoting digital literacy through various programs and resources. Within the local Pine Belt Community, the following Public Libraries are available.

For Subscribers that find it challenging to travel to their local library, please refer to the Digital Learn website, developed by the Public Library Association (PLA) with support from AT&T. This service is provided free, and allows the user self-directed courses on topics like using computers, navigating websites, and online safety. Many Alabama libraries utilize these resources in their digital literacy efforts as well.
